The Wanderers is the sixth book of the Marin Family Chronicles and it continues the story of the family through the three sons, Pierre, Jean, and Charles as they go their separate ways. Jean returns to Port Royal, Acadie, New France, while Pierre chooses to roam the interior of the continent, and Charles does roaming of another sort in Quebec, New France.
